The capital investment in specific parts tools and industry means is quite low at about 300 K€.: TEXTILIFT® is based mostly on standard parts: a tubular motor, an inertia brake and a technical fabric that are widely used in the shutter and shading industry, a tooth-belt that is widely used in the automotive industry, and a wood-frame that is CNC made. More figures with BOM, cost calculations, tool investments, communication expense, and at last a business plan with ROI are available upon signature of a NDA.
The developing team includes 3 senior experiences specialists who have along the last decades designed, developed, patented, tested, improved and launched many products using the same technology. They are a key part of the project success. An external consultant who has half of a century of experience of the homologation of personal lifts in an international certified lab is supporting the machinery directive aspects of the project. He helped to run the risk assessment that is required by the Machinery Directive. This is now done. The same team will support the TEXTILIFT manufacturing and sales team until its commissioning and later. There are still some developments and qualifications to do but the feasibility doesn’t make any doubt.
A 1st proof of concept has been created between the 1st floor and the attic that used a HD bike chain. It has later been replaced by a synchro tooth-belt and guiding trolleys have been added. At last a self-locking insulation cover has completed the TEXTILIFT PoC that is working without failure since March 2020.

On the silver-economy market, whose growth is one of the present most important, TEXTILIFT is the missing link that comes at the best moment and price. As it is strongly patented in Europe, there is a minor risk of facing a hard competition.
Would it be as an extension of an existing range of similar products inside a Group, a new branch in a manufacturing company or a scratch start-up, in all cases a project leader needs to be hired that will commit himself to the TEXTILIFT® success.
He will be of course supported by the TEXTILIFT initial team members all along the launch pf the project
A priority will be given to the first candidate investors for the conclusion of a licence agreement.
Most critical steps have been achieved successfully.
We are now looking for a partner who will invest and manage the industrial aspects of the project.
In order to evaluate the interests of TEXTILIFT for the general public we are also launching an intense communication campaign via the social medias with a poll that we hope will tell us more about the interest towards TEXTILIFT and the projected prices.
